My kids have started complaining about the lack of their mummy preparing breakfast. They said canteen food is too little portion for them and cannot satisfy their hunger.
Ok...ok.. I know I haven't gotten the energy to make breakfast for them recently. So I tell myself, this has to stop. So for the past few days, I have been making something for them.
Last couple of days, I cooked porridge late in the evening so that they could eat before go to school and bring some for their break.
Yesterday evening, I prepared extra rice and some dishes so that they could bring in the morning. And this morning, I made some pancake for them using the premix that I got from Cold Storage.
I got some small packet of maple syrup for them to eat with.
I know, it doesn't look appealing enough compare to other online cooking that had been blogged. Will try to improve them.

Anne Klein Watch
Bought myself a watch via online website. It is a pre-order purchased and I waited for only couple of weeks for it. Nothing fancy, just something simple.
Come to think of it, I didn't actually plan to purchase anything when I was browsing the net. I was bored to the skull when I came across this particular watch and it striked me that this piece maybe the one that I want. Funny isn't it how we tend to justify things that actually is not essential for us.

Garlic Toast @ ChillaCup
When I feel like having some unconventional garlic toast bread. Off I went to ChillaCup (as this is the only coffee shop that open from 7am besides mamak's restaurant) and I order garlic toast bread.
From my observation, ChillaCup is using the big toaster (something like what the hotels are having) hence the toast comes out looks like it has been oven baked.
For this garlic toast bread, they cut the thick bread into two slices and slide in cheese (not sure what type but it is delicious). Then they toasted it with some parsley sprinkled on top, thereafter they drizzled some maple syrup. I believe the maple syrup gave the distinguished taste that differentiate their garlic toast bread from others.
But hey, I think we have our own taste bud. What may seems delicious to me might be so and so for others.
You gotta experience it yourself.

Midnite rambling.....
My sister has gone back and naturally I would feel sad to see her go. Of all the three sisters that I have, she is the closest to me. And she really took care me.
The sadness didn't appear on instantly. It would be creeping slowly few days after she left. By then I would be feeling melancholy and until I shed some tears, this feeling won't go away.
Foolish it may seems but that's who I am.

Breakfast @ Chilla Cup
After a month of fasting, I craved for morning coffee and English style breakfast. And ChillaCup has nice coffee with good choices of breakfast. Plus they open from 7am so it fit perfectly into my morning schedule.

Big Bad Wolf 2011
Ever since I got to know about BBW annual event, I have been waiting for it restlessly. Once they announced the date, I have marked my calendar so that I won't forget about it.
I reached MAEPS around 10.10am, the crowds have already gone in and the queue is not that long.
Once I stepped out the hall, I can see a long queue to enter the hall.

Daffodils by William Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Flower-Gathering by Robert Frost
I left you in the morning,
And in the morning glow,
You walked a way beside me
To make me sad to go.
Do you know me in the gloaming,
Gaunt and dusty gray with roaming?
Are you dumb because you know me not,
Or dumb because you know?
All for me? And not a question

My New Gadget
I was checking out the BB playbook @Midvalley when he said "It is too small, do you want iPad II ?" I was stunned for awhile but my brain took over my body quite fast when I thought I heard someone said "Seriously?" but then I realized it was me who said it. And he said "Why not?" So here I am now writing my blog via iPad II at Coffeebean, Solaris while waiting for my kids. And the best part is the battery last longer compare to other device, probably because it does not multitask as much as other device does.
I wanted to buy the white one but it is already out of stock. Imagine that???. So now I won't be fighting with him over the tele anymore since I have new gadget to occupy my evening.
Few days after I had my own iPad...the kids and I went to have dinner at Sakae Sushi, The Curve. I think I have not been there for quite sometimes. Just imagine my surprise to see that at each table, there is a white iPad for the customer to enter their order. Now I know where all the white iPad has gone to.

Break-fast @ Bubba Gumps, Curve
It is already 19th day of Ramadhan and normally once or twice during fasting month, we will go for buffet since the kids love it. So I planned to bring the kids for a ramadhan buffet at Royale Bintang, Curve but the restaurant is fulled hence we went to Bubba Gumps instead.
We had to wait for about 20 mins until we were seated and I have been dragging my kids around the mall to kill the time. We went for Maghrib prayer first before we headed back to the restaurant for our meal. In that way we could eat our dinner slowly without having to rush for the prayer later.
Once we seated, I can't help myself from ordering my favourite dish - Scampi. Apart from that we ordered Shrimping Dippin or was it Dippin Shrimp...I can't really recalled. What my daughter did, she just browse through the menu and pointed it out to the waiter.
For dessert, we chose That Chocolate Thing. It was awesome.
