The odd thing about this form of communication is you're more likely to talk about nothing than something. But I just want to say that all this nothing has meant more to me than so many something, so thank you.

Quotes - Charlotte Bronte
"It is in vain to say human beings ought to be satisfied with tranquility: they must have action; and they will make it if they cannot find it."

Quotes by Charlotte Bronte
Memory in youth is active and easily impressible; in old age it is comparatively callous to new impressions, but still retains vividly those of earlier years.

Quotation in Persuasion by Jane Austen
"Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant. You alone have brought me to Bath. For you alone, I think and plan. Have you not seen this? Can you fail to have understood my wishes?"
Captain Wentworth's letter to Anne, in the Musgrove's room at the White Hart in Bath
- Persuasion, volume 2, chapter 11
Rupert Penry-Jones played Captain Wentworth in Persuasion version 2007.
I am a bit obsessed with Jane Austen books. Eventhough I have read all the books that was written by her still I could read again her book couple of times and yet I will not be able to remember the exact plot of her book.

Persuasion - Jane Austen
"I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone forever."

Persuasion, volume 2, chapter 11

It is funny how most of Jane Austen's male character likes to explain themselves via letter. I find it somehow romantic in a certain way.

Memories - Wilson Rawls
"It's strange indeed how memories can lie dormant in a man's mind for so many years. Yet those memories can be awakened and brought forth fresh and new, just by something you've seen, or something you've heard, or the sight of an old familiar face." - Wilson Rawls, Where the Red Fern Grows, Ch. 1

Quotation by Datuk Dr Maznah

Virginia Woolf's Quotation
I can only note that the past is beautiful because one never realises an emotion at the time. It expands later, and thus we don't have complete emotions about the present, only about the past.

Quotation - Virginia Woolf
Each has his past shut in him like the leaves of a book known to him by his heart, and his friends can only read the title.
