Once Upon A Time....

Once upon a time, there was a young girl who met a guy and feel likes she has fallen in love head over heel with him. Despite his flirtatious way of conversing with his female friends, she still feels that he is the one for her. Was it her naivety or perhaps she feels that everything is in the right place at the right time, or perhaps she feels his affection is stronger from his side compare to her, thus she made the decision to accept his proposal.
Did they live happily ever after? Well, happily ever after is very subjective and only occurs in fairy tales. Why do I say happily ever after is subjective ? It is because each person requires different set of medium or method to be happily ever. Sometimes it just take spending time together to make a person so happy, she would be so content even in worst situation.
Don't you think so? I do!

Change

People said change is good.

I change my job again. The nature of the job is still the same. I am not moving up. Not trying to be among the decision maker. I am still the at the same level.
My ex-colleague said I am a job hopper which I deny ferociously. She said if that person could be more lenient I will be there till I retired. She knows how I love the place. I have been wanting to be working in shopping complexes ever since I know what is shopping complexes.
The thing is, I don't have time to enjoy being in one. Could not even enjoy participating in company's event without even getting any sarcastic remarks.

I am still thinking about the decision that I made, the jumped that I took.

People said change is good. Is it really true?

Fat

OMG....OMG....OMG... I am fat.
Really really fat. I have increased 2 sizes in the past 6 months working in this place that I "enjoy  so much".  And I can see my bulging  tummy too. OMG... What shall I do????. My mind keep on racing on how and what I should in order to lose this kilos and it made me hungry. With that I started munching on the junk food  that was bought by myself fron the money that were given by these managers.
Shame on me. I can't  think of anything right now. Let me sleep on it first.

Dinner with Wings

This is one of those 'lazy to cook real dinner' days. Used ready made concoction and oven baked the chicken wings. Whipped up some salad, canned mushroom soup and garlic bread to go with it.
Life is always simple..by your choice.

Rambling

I keep on erasing whatever that I've typed cause I don't know how to continue after  I have finishes those sentences. Life is kinda vague at the moment. I could not confirmed whether I am doing fine nor can I confirmed that I am not doing well. Everybody will have to go through some phases in their life and I think I have been going through some phases for quite sometimes.

If I were to compare between my life  to some of my friends that are going through some bad phases in their life, I definitely think I should be grateful. But I would like to think that we should not be making such comparison as each individual is unique in its own way hence each experiences are totally different. I have been telling myself that those "what if" are useless and one should not be having such "what if" moment at all. We do not want to stir things that are left behind so peacefully.
Oh well, enough of rambling in one day. Could not ramble away like I want to as there are so many things to do.

From Muar with Love

Being a hard core coffee drinker, I would try any type of coffee that came into my attention. Be it local or imported coffee. Chawan Restaurant has an array of local coffee and I have tried most of the coffees that they served. But one local coffee that really catches my attention or my taste is the 434 coffee from Muar. It has a strong local coffee smells and tasted so nice I keep coming back for it.
Since I have moved to Cheras, I have not been able to satisfy my craving for 434 coffee anytime I want. Tried to keep some stock but all the supermarkets that I frequent to does not have any on their shelves. Lucky for me, I have an old friend who still resides in Muar thus upon request she delivered one big bottle to me and it's for free..yeay!!!!
And guess what???? they do have a website (http://www.saikee.com/) and I can actually order online.
Keep some for myself and I gave some to my other coffee drinker friends.
Sharing is caring, am I right?

Food and Friends at Bandar Sri Putra

Life is always a big circle and as long as we live and breathe in the same air of the same country we are bound to meet with each other be it planned or unplanned.
A friend is coming down from Kelantan for her training in KL and we take the opportunity to meet up and dine with some other friends at a friend's house whom we have not met for I believe 18 years.

I don't remember ever being chatty with her back then in Malacca but we are now. She said I was a bit stuck up back then but the truth is I always feel that I'm not at the same par with most of the girls there. Most of them are pretty, genius, witty and well to do. Well I'm none of the above hence I don't communicate as much with some of the girls back then and in a way I have projected a wrong side of myself.... I guess.
Well, how I perceived myself will always be different from how people view me. People have their own opinion and they are entitled to it whether we like it or not.

The story here is after a long 18 years, we finally got to meet up and know each other and be friends despite of our differences. And the best part is as long as there are opportunity we will grab it and will make the best of it.

Old Folk Remedy

Woke up with a sore throat and blocked nose. I know after this the cough will slowly sink in and the headache will started to knock my head like a hammer...ppfffttt!!!!
Hate it when it happen. My friend told me to marinate lemon and ginger slices with honey. Mixed with warm water and drink it every now and then.
Had to be on medical leave yesterday.
Hope the cough will be over soon.

Beef Lasagna

Requested by my sister since she's a fan of Italian's food but prefers the cheaper version.
I took a shortcut way with the pasta sauce. Bought a big jar of Prego, add in some herbs, minced meat, slice olives and mushroom and wallah.... it's all done.
It might not be as nice as a real home made pasta sauce and all but enough to satisfy our craving for lasagna.

Ingredients :
Meat sauce :
400gm minced meat
1 big bottle of Prego pasta sauce
Olive oil
Onions (diced)
Slice black olives
Slice Mushroom
Mixed Herbs
Black pepper and salt to taste

Method :
Sauteed onion in olive oil
Add in minced meat and stir
Pour in Prego pasta sauce, mixed herbs and mix well
Add in olive and mushroom.
Add in black pepper and salt to taste

Cheesy Sauce :
Butter
Cheese
Flour
Milk
Black pepper and salt to taste

Method :
Melt butter and add in flour
Remove from stove and then add in milk and mix well
Put it back on the stove and add in cheese
Stir until it thicken then add in black pepper and salt to taste.

First layer of lasagna sheets then meat sauce and followed by cheese sauce. Pile it up until you have 3 sets of layer. The last layer should be cheese sauce. Cover it up with shredded cheese and baked at 180C until cooked.
