After a month of fasting, I craved for morning coffee and English style breakfast. And ChillaCup has nice coffee with good choices of breakfast. Plus they open from 7am so it fit perfectly into my morning schedule.

Big Bad Wolf 2011
Ever since I got to know about BBW annual event, I have been waiting for it restlessly. Once they announced the date, I have marked my calendar so that I won't forget about it.
I reached MAEPS around 10.10am, the crowds have already gone in and the queue is not that long.
Once I stepped out the hall, I can see a long queue to enter the hall.

Daffodils by William Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Flower-Gathering by Robert Frost
I left you in the morning,
And in the morning glow,
You walked a way beside me
To make me sad to go.
Do you know me in the gloaming,
Gaunt and dusty gray with roaming?
Are you dumb because you know me not,
Or dumb because you know?
All for me? And not a question

My New Gadget
I was checking out the BB playbook @Midvalley when he said "It is too small, do you want iPad II ?" I was stunned for awhile but my brain took over my body quite fast when I thought I heard someone said "Seriously?" but then I realized it was me who said it. And he said "Why not?" So here I am now writing my blog via iPad II at Coffeebean, Solaris while waiting for my kids. And the best part is the battery last longer compare to other device, probably because it does not multitask as much as other device does.
I wanted to buy the white one but it is already out of stock. Imagine that???. So now I won't be fighting with him over the tele anymore since I have new gadget to occupy my evening.
Few days after I had my own iPad...the kids and I went to have dinner at Sakae Sushi, The Curve. I think I have not been there for quite sometimes. Just imagine my surprise to see that at each table, there is a white iPad for the customer to enter their order. Now I know where all the white iPad has gone to.

Break-fast @ Bubba Gumps, Curve
It is already 19th day of Ramadhan and normally once or twice during fasting month, we will go for buffet since the kids love it. So I planned to bring the kids for a ramadhan buffet at Royale Bintang, Curve but the restaurant is fulled hence we went to Bubba Gumps instead.
We had to wait for about 20 mins until we were seated and I have been dragging my kids around the mall to kill the time. We went for Maghrib prayer first before we headed back to the restaurant for our meal. In that way we could eat our dinner slowly without having to rush for the prayer later.
Once we seated, I can't help myself from ordering my favourite dish - Scampi. Apart from that we ordered Shrimping Dippin or was it Dippin Shrimp...I can't really recalled. What my daughter did, she just browse through the menu and pointed it out to the waiter.
For dessert, we chose That Chocolate Thing. It was awesome.

A Thought Went Up My Mind To-day by Emily Dickinson
A thought went up my mind to-day
That I have had before,
But did not finish,--some way back,
I could not fix the year,
Nor where it went, nor why it came
The second time to me,
Nor definitely what it was,
Have I the art to say.

School Holidays Again!!
School holiday is back again. Only two weeks but I know the kids will be restless if I were to let them stay at the day care for the entire two weeks. Hence I signed up 3d2n "Kem Anak Soleh" for them which is located in Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan. It is like 7 mins from my home. I know it sounds lame but I could not bear to send my kids for holiday camp in the woods or going for a trip in Malacca with their schoolmates. All those stories about kids being missing under their teachers care is making me scared. Am I being over protective as a mother? I can't help it. With all those scary stories nowadays, how can I not be.

Paddling and Floating
Guess what? I can float and paddle from one side of the pool to the other...hehehehehe I'm so proud of myself. But I still need to fix my breathing technique as I could nor held my breathe longer underwater.
And the headache has slowly disappeared. I have change the lenses' power and I feel a bit better.
Can't wait for the next lesson.

Love's Secret - William Blake
Never seek to tell thy love,
Love that never told can be;
For the gentle wind does move
Silently, invisibly.
I told my love, I told my love,
I told her all my heart;
Trembling, cold, in ghastly fears,
Ah! she did depart!
Soon as she was gone from me,
A traveler came by,
Silently, invisibly
He took her with a sigh.
